Start your trip

When the sun’s warm and pleasant rays are a balm to you, you know you’re in the right place. Fortunately for you, Geauxing Places Travel knows a lot of places like this; places where the yellow sun shines bright and beautiful, shedding warmth over everything it touches; and if that’s what you seek in your vacation, then read on:

Havana, Cuba

Let’s start off with a trip to Havana in Cuba. Be warned though, that a drink is probably the first thing you’ll ask for once you get there. The weather will make sure of it, but that’s a good thing because there are more than enough bars to satiate your thirst and draw satisfied smiles on your face.

If you’re left undecided on the bar to head to, we recommend the Floridita. They have drinks there that’ll make you look at the glass twice in pleasant surprise-or even shock. And Cuba’s warm weather makes all the cold drinks taste even sweeter.

Curious for a bite of Cuban delicacies? The La Cocina de Lilliam, a family-owned and run restaurant, will cater to all your cravings. They offer foods like tres leches cake and arroz con pollo and other delicacies that are frankly too difficult for us to pronounce properly.

Tenerife of the Canary Islands, Spain

Spain is known for its ancient culture, unique foods, magnificent islands, music, dance, and of course, sunny weather. Do we have your attention? You’re in luck, because you can get to experience all these things at the same time, and every single day too.

A trip to Tenerife, the biggest of all of Spain’s Canary Islands, is a must. It’s a 42-mile long beach with rich, soft and golden sand waiting for your feet to sink into it.

If you’re not too keen on seeing sand everywhere you look, have a stroll to the RedLevel, located at the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora. This is a resort that comes with everything, and we do mean everything: a bar, a spa, a gym, swimming pools built around 5 villas, secluded gardens, in-room aromatherapy; the list goes on and on.

And what if we told you driving atop lava is possible in Spain? Seriously, it is! Petrified lava, that is (lol). The Teide National Park awaits you and your hiking boots. It’s a landscape riddled with craters, volcanoes and petrified lava, which are all great places for sightseeing and exploration.

The only tip we’ll give you here is to make sure you have a few cans of chilled juice in your backpack when you take a trip there, because you’ll need them. Spain and its wonders await you. Why not give us a call and let’s start planning your amazing vacation out of Denham Springs, Louisiana?
