Arizona's CIVANA Wellness Resort Reopens

Located in the high Sonoran Desert just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona, CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa are welcoming guests again.

The destination wellness resort – recently ranked #3 on Travel + Leisure’s 2020 World’s Best Awards list for “Top 15 Domestic Spas” – offers personalized wellness experiences, empathetic hospitality and enhanced safety and wellbeing guidelines woven into the fabric of every stay.

CIVANA’s healing spa treatments, yoga, meditation, fitness classes and culinary experiences will continue to focus on “a positive change that brings greater happiness, both physically and mentally.”

These offerings will include a curated menu of spa treatments that will help restore the body back to a natural state of balance, along with 8-10 wellness classes per day that touch on all four domains of wellbeing: physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental.

The spa will stagger 60- and 90-minute services and limit occupancy to further ensure the of guests and team members. Guests will continue to have access to the resort’s signature Aqua Therapy Circuit, a journey through waters of varying temperatures in the European-designed Knepp hot/cold wading pool and Tepidarium therapeutic soaking pool. Access to the Aqua Therapy Circuit will be available by appointment only and will be limited to a 30-minute session per guest. The Spa’s saltwater lap pool along with its relaxation lounge will continue to be accessible to guests receiving treatments. A curated menu of light bites and refreshments will be available for poolside delivery.

CIVANA has reimagined its signature wellness offerings to take greater of its outdoor surroundings, from morning mediation in the rose garden, to twice daily desert hikes, to sunset spin classes, to sound-bowl + star gazing sessions on the yoga lawn, and more.

CIVANA’s re-thought culinary offerings include an entirely new hyper-seasonal menu at Seed, CIVANA’s cafe and specialty market open for breakfast and lunch, along with Terras, the resort’s signature dinner restaurant serving regionally inspired cuisine.

All printed menus are single-use and will be discarded after each guest. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face masks, will be worn by restaurant team members in accordance with CDC guidelines and Arizona state laws.
