Have you ever been to Toronto, the capital of Ontario and the biggest city in Canada? No? Well then, you’re in for a whale of a time. Not only is this city incredibly diverse, it’s also the one place you can find a mixture of wonderful attractions, ranging from galleries and museums to offshore islands and more.

Geauxing Places Travel always recommends Canada to its customers because there is rarely a shortage of things to do there. There is vibrant entertainment, fine dining and unique shops with even more unique wares.

There are the attractions too, of course. We’re a full-service travel agency from Denham Springs, Louisiana, and written down below are 2 attractions we truly feel would make your vacation in Toronto a great and memorable one.

If there’s one thing that we can all agree on, it’s that aquariums are gateways to another world. The sea is such a vast and mysterious place, and Ripley’s aquarium does a fantastic job of taking all that and bringing it to you at the aquarium.

You will see all manner of marine life that’s made all the more incredible by the underwater tunnel feature. Walk through this tunnel and be overwhelmed at what you see above and all around you. Sharks will glide past, filling you with a sense of dread and wonder in equal parts; sawfish will cling to the tunnel roof and jellyfish will brighten up the gloom with creative and fascinating lighting.

This is probably Toronto’s most famous attraction and landmark. The CN Tower is over 335 meters high, which just means you can’t miss it regardless of where you are in the city. You can either stay on the ground and marvel at the gargantuan masterpiece, or you can take it a step further by going up to one of the many observation decks for scenic and incredible views of the city. From up there, you can also see Lake Ontario, looking as blue and lovely as ever.

If you care to know, the highest viewing area in the building is the Sky Pod. It’s over 447 meters high; at such a height, it’s even possible for you to see the Nagara Falls. The ‘Edge Walk’ is another great and exciting thing to try because it entails a hands-free walk on a wide ledge outside the Sky Pod.
